1. Filing a DMCA Notice (Copyright Infringement Notification)

To process a copyright complaint effectively, please submit a written DMCA notice via email to [email protected], with "DMCA Notice" in the subject line. Your notice must include the following information:

Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, you may list them in one notice.
Identification of the infringing material with sufficient detail to allow TextStudio.com to locate it. The best way to do this is to provide the specific URL(s) where the material is located and a clear description of the infringing content on that page.
Your contact information, including your full name, email address, mailing address, and telephone number.
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Your electronic or physical signature.

A properly formatted DMCA takedown notice must contain all of the above information; otherwise, we may not be able to process your request.

2. Action Taken Upon Receiving a Valid DMCA Notice

Once we receive a complete and valid DMCA notice, we may take the following actions:

Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
Notify the content provider, member, or user that the material has been removed due to a copyright complaint.
Terminate accounts of repeat infringers if applicable.

If the reported material is removed, the user who uploaded the content may have the option to submit a DMCA Counter-Notice, as outlined below.

3. DMCA Counter-Notice Procedure (For Content Owners Challenging a Removal)

If you believe that your content was wrongfully removed due to a misidentification or mistake, you may submit a DMCA Counter-Notice via email with "DMCA Counter-Notice" in the subject line to [email protected]. The Counter-Notice must include:

Your TextStudio account name, registered email, mailing address, and phone number.
Identification of the specific content that was removed and where it was previously located.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed due to a mistake or misidentification.
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your location (or San Francisco, CA if outside the U.S.).
Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receiving a Counter-Notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a lawsuit within 10-14 business days, we may restore the removed content, at our sole discretion.

4. Repeat Infringers & Account Termination

TextStudio.com reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly upload infringing content. Users found to be repeat infringers may have their access permanently revoked.

5. Limitation of Liability & False Claims

False DMCA claims: If you knowingly submit a false DMCA claim, you may be liable for damages, including legal fees and costs.
No liability for third-party content: TextStudio.com is an online service provider and is not responsible for content uploaded by users.
We act in good faith to comply with copyright law but do not mediate copyright disputes between parties.
